Team training brings sports teams together – experimenting, improving, and practicing routines. Maybe with a cold drink afterward, often a beer. But the real fun starts in competition. A bit abstract, but that’s how we felt when our task force ‘AI-Mazing 27km’ began exploring AI tools for our work environment in early 2023. Enthusiasts from all departments—creation, production, post-production—were part of the journey. The goal was clear: to learn intensively through this process, document our findings, and ultimately create something we could be proud of.
Creating our own cases is part of our company culture. So, to draw our first conclusions on how AI will change our daily work and creativity, we wanted to gain practical knowledge by applying it. We had to play! Motivated by this exciting challenge, we decided to internally test and expand our limits: we wanted to know what happens when we conceptualize and produce an entire film with AI. An exciting experiment that shows how we can push the boundaries of what is possible.
Creativity, once exclusively attributed to humans, is experiencing an exciting expansion through (generative) AI. Texts, images, videos, and music can now be created using a variety of AI tools, challenging our notions of originality and uniqueness. However, creativity remains a domain where the human mind is indispensable.
Our AI project impressively showed us that true innovation arises at the intersection of human inspiration and machine execution—a testament to how our creative spark ignites real magic.
