Giovanni is renowned for his fresh and honest approach in realism where the food is the hero. His style is executed though combination of techniques where he finds the perfect balance between the perfect and imperfect world in his composition and approach. His style is all about discovery and reveal where the camera finds the action, mixing it up with super slow-motion, super macro, hand-held and robot work “I come from a place where I truly want to tap into the powerful instincts that make us desire the sensual, enjoyable, and emotional aspects of eating”.

Gio is a true film maker at heart and has worked in the industry for over twenty years. His feature film credits include blockbusters to the likes of Superman Returns, Alex Proyas’s The knowing, The Matrix Trilogy, Star Wars EPII, Australia and much more, where he worked as a key 2nd & 1st Assistant Director at the highest level. With a wealth of experience including creating and directing five television series in the food genre, Giovanni continues to “Wow” his audience with his distinct style and natural ability for storytelling.
