At first, I was rather skeptical and even a little worried. I wondered whether it might become a potential threat to the creative professions. But never in my memory did I think we’d actually be “replaced”. That was before I experienced text-to-image generators. Today, I’m delighted to have crossed the line. This technology has turned my life upside down, just as it has revolutionized creative processes.
Between Generative AI and me, it’s a real love story; an unexpected love at first sight that changed everything for me.
Do you remember the exact moment you realized that AI could transform the way you create or perceive art?
In February 2023, I wrote a novel entitled Brûleurs, published by JC Lattès in France. To promote it, I had the idea of recreating scenes from my book with AI-Powered images, to encourage potential readers to dive into the novel’s universe. It was then that I realized that my mind could open up to a whole new vision, shaped by the prism of AI and emerging technologies. And, to be honest, I never expected it to be so well received.
