Omid Aghdami

Born in germany in 1990 Omid’s first passionate ambition was music. right after school he started his studies in sound design (b.a.) in Cologne and hamburg while touring across Germany and Europe with various bands and musical projects.

In 2012 he decided to move to Hamburg where he started working in a film production company called “Final-touch”. working as a production assistant and later as a production manager and junior producer got him involved with various advertising campaigns where he soon was fascinated by the art and process of film making.

One day on set a producer handed him a canon 5d dslr with the words “just go and shoot something”. It was that very first experience with a camera that ignited his passion and devotion for the craft of creative, visual storytelling. 

In 2014 he joined the production company “The|Marmalade” where he founded the division “jamsession.tv” that focuses on creating creative media content for online. after one year Omid was directing high-end content and tv commercials for brands like Montblanc, Bmw, Marc Cain, Sony, Unilever, Lamborghini and more.

Omid now works worldwide as a freelance director for international lifestyle, fashion, luxury and beauty brands.
